Glovebox Technology
for Glovebox Integrated Welding Applications
|
A variety of today's
products use welding applications as the joining
stage of their manufacturing process. These
welds need to be extremely reliable in meeting
application specific requirements of the
product, and should be created without
compromising the device's function. |
Medical components
such as pacemakers and pumps require several welds in
the manufacturing process along with hermetically
sealing. These life-dependent seals help in the
prevention external body fluids from getting into the
device and preventing damage. Batteries, capacitor cans,
valves and many more devices require a weld around their
periphery to complete their assembly.

MBRAUN
welding chambers offer Seam Welders an oxygen and moisture-free
environment.
Titanium which is very reactive during welding with
either oxygen, moisture or nitrogen the most
common welding application and is much easier to
work with in a MBRAUN
welding chambers.

The two images below show two stainless
steel pipes being used in a food processing facility.
(The purity of the material is required for meeting
stringent food standards), the right was welded in air
atmosphere, the left one was welded inside an
MBRAUN inert gas glovebox
system - see the difference!
